Heavy Duty, RR Torsion Arm, Offset 1-1/8", 7/8" x 11 1/2", 600cc micro sprint

Heavy duty 3/4" thick version of the standard version of the 40-171 torsion arm.

Fits '07 and up Hyper 600cc on the right rear. 1" offset.

This arm provides more offset to move the right rear bearing carrier out. This is generally needed for use with longer paddles (11" & 12" paddle for this arm). It also depends on which Jacob's Ladder frame tab hole it is mounted to.

Redesigned in 2017. The X4, X6, & X7 Hyper rear torsion arms are now designed with two shock mounting holes. The idea for the new hole, which is closer to the shackle mounting hole, was conceived when the R&D was being performed for the X7 chassis. More shock control was needed to control the rear axle when in the forward position (short wheelbase). In lieu of re-valving our shocks, we just added the new hole which adds 10% more effective shock rate to the dampening system thanks to the mechanical advantage change.

The new arm is also made a little stronger by increasing t
